Micro-Needling Skin Rejuvenation
Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), skin resurfacing allows the body's natural response to healing thereby increasing the amount of collagen and elastin in the skin. The treatment can help decrease wrinkles, fine lines, acne scarring, stretch marks, and burn scars.
This treatment is suitable for all skin types unlike a laser which can cause pigmentation issues for some people.
All equipment is sterilized and the needles used are single use only.Topical anesthetic is usually applied 20 minutes prior to the procedure to minimize discomfort and growth factor may also be applied to optimize results.
Skin takes roughly four weeks to synthesize new collagen. More than one treatment may be required for the desired result.

What to Expect:
The area treated will be pink or red like a mild sunburn and may have some swelling for the first 48 hours and there may be some dried blood that you can wash off three hours after the treatment. For the first 1-3 days the skin will be very dry and feel tight. Some flaking is normal. Mineral makeup may be used on the second day. After 2-3 days you can return to regular skin care products or as soon as it is comfortable to do so.
